The FAA Has Approved FRIA Status for Wolverine Skyhawks' Flying Sites

Writer: wolverineskyhawkswolverineskyhawks

After March 16, 2024, any UAS (Uncrewed Aircraft System) that weighs over 250g. must have an FAA approved Remote ID module transmitting unless it is flying at a FRIA (FAA-Recocognized Identification Area). The Wolverine Skyhawks' flying sites in Cedar Springs and Grand Rapids have both been approved by the FAA as FRIA sites. Therefore, no Remote ID is required to fly at the club fields.
