Monday, September 6th is the date for our annual Labor Day Event! The location is at our Sparta field ( Former site of the Klein Rodeo) All RC pilots with current AMA are invited to attend. This year there will be a $5 registration fee for pilots. Each registered pilot will receive a picnic lunch, door prize, and more!Throughout the day we will have raffles and giveaways. Flying will commence after the 10 AM pilot briefing. Lunch will be served around noon.
Come join us for a great time! We will be holding the drawing for our 2010 Raffle Plane at 4PM |

Saturday, August 7 is Warped Wings Breakfast Fly-In . There is a flyer on their web site with all the details. Look under their "Club Events" tab.
The RiverRock Church festival is Sunday, August 8th! They would love to have the Wolverine Skyhawks back and put on a nice static display and put some planes in the air. We have had a great time there the last few years. They usually have a barbecue ribs and chicken cookoff, a pie contest,live music, several displays and events, and did I mention Great Food? The festival is open to the public, and is free ( although they do have a donation jar.) It starts at 4PM. We should start setting up around 3 PM. The church is located at Rockford Christian school 6060 Belding Road NE. We fly at the soccer fields at the West edge of the property. The July 13th meeting will be held at the Sparta Hills field. We will be discussing, among other things, the July 17 Sparta Days Parade float and the possibility of a "Meet the neighbors" picnic and fly next Thursday 7/13 at the Sparta Landfill location. |

This year the picnic is at the Vinton field. Burgers and dogs served at noon, Bring your family, a dish to pass and an aircraft to fly! |
